SARAY GUIDETTI

Saray is a director who loves heart-pounding narratives centered around compelling and multi-dimensional characters. She recently directed an episode of The Blacklist (Sony/NBCU) where she had the opportunity to work with exciting new characters and bring out the humanity even in the most corrupt characters, like Blair Foster.

Saray’s work spans across feature films, documentaries, TV, web series and branded content and with each endeavor, her primary objective is to infuse authenticity and emotional depth, while simultaneously enhancing the narrative with impactful and meaningful messages. Her work has been featured at the Los Angeles Film Festival (American DREAMers, a feature documentary, which follows undocumented youth who walk across America for immigrant rights), San Francisco Latino Film Festival (Entanglement, a short film about two hapless Angelenos who are cosmically entangled) and the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Lady Justice, a short film about a vigilante who takes down sex traffickers by night and is a mom and wife by day.)

In 2021, she wrapped on the final season of CW’s Supergirl where she served as an associate producer and in 2022, she wrapped on HBO Max’s pilot Dead Boy Detectives and feature film Home Delivery, where she served as an associate producer and HBO Max’s documentary Love, Lizzo where she served as a supervising producer.

Saray is attached to direct horror/thriller feature, Mount Mendocino written by TJ Wortham.

Saray is a member of the Television Academy, Alliance of Women Directors, Film Fatales, Chicana Director’s Initiative, and the Directors Guild of America where she’s part of the Latino Committee and Women’s Steering Committee. She is repped by Inclusion Management and GGSSC.

ADVOCACY

Saray founded Untitled Women Project, which unites and celebrates women in the entertainment industry and Dissolve to Evolve, which hosted its first summit for women of color in media, November, 2020.
